EQAO

EQAO is coming up and we are preparing for it. We have been learning about many units over the year like patterns, newspaper articles and other subjects like that.

But as we have been learning about new stuff and even more subjects, I'm kinda starting to forget about the patterning and novel characteristics. What are you thinking about EQAO. Do you think you are ready... or not.

School Getting Better?

Over the past month or so we have been using blogs and new technology to learn. Even before blogs, was the smart board. School is slowly getting better in my opinion but what if that all changes. Will we stop using blogs, and the smart board and go back to lame'o paper and pencil. Well I certainly hope that will not happen and I hope it will improve even more than it already has. What do you think about school. Is it getting better or is it the same old thing. And what would you think if that all colapsed and went back to the old stuff. Please give me your opinion.

Blogs

Right now I am using a blog to communicate with those who chose to visit my blog. I like the whole idea about how we are using blogs to communicate with many people around the world. Like you could have a pen pal from Indea with a blog.

Some people are against blogs. I really dont believe in this but they have some good reasons. First, people can bully you on blogs. This is bad because it is cyber bullying and that is bad . Another reason blogs can be bad is because people can get personal information from a blog but that can be prevented because you can make it personal info that no one will see.

So what is your opinion on blogs. Yes thay can be bad but that can be prevented. I know my opinion is that they are good but what is yours?

Badminton Team Decided?

Miss. Nell is the coach of the school badminton team for the grades 5 and 6's. The decision is suppost to be made today in the final practice and we are all on the team no matter what. Some will just be subs though. I wish there was more spots open. We could have so many spots open and everybody could be a part of the team. But 8 slots for the boys and girls is just how it is . I hope that i get on the team and others who think the same. . . Good luck to you.

Internet Games: Fun or Boring

I have just recently been on the computer plating games on the internet. Internet games are designed to keep you entertained but are they doing their job. I was so bored it was not even funny.

Many game sites are fun to search and play on but the magority of them are lame, boring and crappy. For example . . . . . . I was on a site called agame and I searched and searched but I found nothing that would amuse me. I then had a spaz and played my PS2. I then went back and searched and found on game called Uphill Rush. This was an easy game at first but it got harder and harder untill i couldn't beat it. Now that is a game.

Another game site I went on was y8(sure you have heard of it). They have atleast 10000+ games. I searched and searched but out of the thousands of games , I found 1 game. This game was a skateboard game in which you have to race other skate boarders down a sewer pipe.

So why dont you visit these sites. . . http://www.y8.com and http://www.agame.com. Tell me if you can find a cool game or two and tell me of you favorite sites. Also tell me what your opinion is. Are internet games fun or boring.
